For Schools
You Run the School.
We'll Build the Pipeline.
SEVIS certification, agency partnerships, student recruitment, on-the-ground support — we handle the international student complexity so you can focus on what you're already good at: education.
Why International Students Are Worth the Investment
International students bring real value — when the program is set up right.
Revenue Diversification
Tuition-paying international students create a reliable, incremental revenue stream that doesn't depend on local enrollment trends or district funding cycles.
Cultural Enrichment
Your domestic students gain exposure to different perspectives, languages, and worldviews. That kind of diversity strengthens school culture in ways you can't manufacture.
Enrollment Stability
A pipeline of international applicants gives you a buffer against demographic shifts and declining local enrollment — helping you plan with more confidence year over year.
What We Help Schools Do
Three areas where most schools need the most support. We cover all three.
SEVIS Certification & Compliance
We walk your school through the full SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) certification process and keep you compliant year after year. No guesswork, no missed filings.
- Initial SEVP application and documentation
- DSO (Designated School Official) training and designation
- Ongoing compliance audits and recordkeeping
- Annual recertification support
Student Recruitment & Enrollment
We build a sustainable student pipeline through agency partnerships, targeted marketing, and admissions strategy. A real pipeline, not a one-time batch.
- International agency network development
- School marketing materials for overseas markets
- Admissions process design and optimization
- Application review and enrollment coordination
Neurodiverse & Inclusive Program Design
We help your school support all learners — including neurodivergent international students who need more than a standard placement.
- Staff training on neurodiversity and cultural sensitivity
- IEP-aligned student placements
- Inclusive curriculum consultation
- Parent communication frameworks

Student Safety Is a Solved Problem
Your school's name is on every placement. We treat that seriously.
J-1 programs are among the most regulated student exchange pathways in the world. Here's what that means for your school in practice.
DOS & CSIET Oversight
J-1 exchange programs are regulated by the U.S. Department of State and reviewed annually by CSIET — the gold standard for student protection in exchange programs.
Certified Local Coordinators
Hundreds of experienced, DOS-certified local coordinators nationwide. Trained for home visits, 24/7 local support, first point of contact when anything comes up.
Rigorous Host Family Screening
Background checks, home inspections, interviews — all per DOS regulations. Ongoing monitoring throughout the placement, not just at arrival.

Why Schools Choose Us
15+ years on both sides — placing students into schools and helping schools build programs.
Christina Lanzillotto founded Atlas & Ivy after spending years in neuroinclusion advocacy and international exchange — which means she understands how schools actually operate, not just how they present themselves to families.
Atlas & Ivy is a designated partner with ICES, SEEDS, and Gap Academy — and uses ExLink, a workflow platform built for J-1 sponsored organizations, to manage placements end to end.
Whether you're exploring SEVIS for the first time or trying to grow what you've already got, we'll give you an honest read on where you stand — and what it would actually take.
What Schools Say
From administrators who've built programs with us.
"Getting SEVIS-certified felt overwhelming until Christina walked us through it. She knew every step, anticipated every question, and we were up and running in less time than we expected. The first international cohort was a genuine success."
"We had a student with significant learning differences that most agencies would have passed on. Atlas & Ivy matched her to exactly the right school, prepared the staff in advance, and stayed involved. That's not something you get from a directory."
Questions About Working With Atlas & Ivy
We don't have an international program yet. Can you help us start one?
Yes — that's one of our core services. We help schools through SEVIS certification, curriculum adjustments, host family recruitment, and building the infrastructure to receive international students safely and compliantly.
How long does it take to start receiving students?
Schools with existing infrastructure can receive students within one enrollment cycle. New programs typically take 3–6 months to set up, depending on SEVIS certification status and readiness.
What does it cost the school?
Our engagement model depends on the scope of services. Some schools pay a setup fee for program development, others work on a per-student basis. We'll build a proposal based on your school's specific needs.
What kind of students will you send us?
Qualified, well-matched students based on your school's academic profile, culture, and capacity. Every student goes through our matching process — we don't send students who aren't a genuine fit.
Do you handle compliance and reporting?
Yes. We manage SEVIS reporting, visa documentation, and regulatory compliance. Your team stays focused on education while we handle the administrative and regulatory side.
Can you help with neurodiverse student support?
Absolutely. Our founder has deep expertise in neuroinclusion and neurodivergent student advocacy. We help schools design support frameworks for neurodiverse international students, including IEP-equivalent plans and staff training.
